Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ tbsp. pepper paste
  • 1 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 cup of green lentils
  • ½ cup Coarse Bulgur
  • ½ tsp. salt

 


1- Wash Duru green lentil. Drain, and boil for 20 minutes on medium heat after adding 3 cups of water.

2- Drain the cooked lentil.

3- Melt butter in a pot, add diced onion, red pepper, and carrot, roast until starting to change color.

4- Add tomato paste and pepper paste, roast for 2-3 minutes more. Add boiled green lentils and bulgur.Add salt and water. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

5- Set aside to rest for 15 minutes then serve with crème.
